    Any caller that comes through the line that displays a telephone number on the CPR Call Blocker can be blocked using the BLOCK NOW button or # and 2 method

    To do the # 2 method, answer the call from a DECT 6.0 wireless handset then press the # key then the 2 key

    You can also press the DOWN ARROW key on the Call Blocker to scroll through the list of your 20 most recent calls, scroll through the list until you find the number you wish to block – when the number appears on the display, press BLOCK NOW to block that number

    Finally, you can also manually add an entry to the CPR Call Blocker by, getting a dial tone on the telephone connected to the Call Blocker (must be in Standard/In-Series set up). Then, dial * * 7 # followed by the number you wish to block, followed by # again

    You should hear a BEEP after each # key and the Call Blocker screen will read SUCCESSFUL and the counter will increase by 1

    You can also block certain TYPES of calls by;

    – Get a dial tone on the phone connected to the CPR Call Blocker
    – Dial * * 7 #
    – Then dial the appropriate code (see below)
    – Then dial # again

    You should hear a BEEP after each # key and the Call Blocker screen will read SUCCESSFUL and the counter will increase by 1

    * * 7 # (BEEP) 7 * # (BEEP) = BLOCKS ALL WITHHELD/PRIVATE calls
    * * 7 # (BEEP) * # (BEEP) = BLOCKS ALL INTERNATIONAL/OUT OF AREA calls
    * * 7 # (BEEP) 6 * # (BEEP) = BLOCKS ALL VOIP/IP ROGUE DIALLER calls
    * * 7 # (BEEP) # (BEEP) = BLOCKS ALL UNAVAILABLE/UNKNOWN calls
    * * 7 # (BEEP) 0 # (BEEP) = BLOCKS ALL ‘0’ DIGIT SPOOF calls
    * * 7 # (BEEP) 0 0 # (BEEP) = BLOCKS ALL INTERNATIONAL NUMBERS WITH CALLER ID calls

    You can also block entire area codes or country codes using by;

    – Get a dial tone on the phone connected to the CPR Call Blocker
    – Dial * * 7 #
    – Then dial area code/country code you wish to block
    – Then dial # again

    You should hear a BEEP after each # key and the Call Blocker screen will read SUCCESSFUL and the counter will increase by 1

    For example, to block the 408 area code dial
    * * 7 # 408 #
    OR to block ALL calls from the UK dial
    * * 7 # 0044 #

    You can also block PARTS of numbers by adding the first 2 to 10 digits of the telephone number(s)
    So, if for example you get a lot of calls from numbers that start with the six digits 408-872-xxxx , you can block all these with one code;
    * * 7 # 408872 #

    OR if you’re getting calls from numbers that start with the eight digits 408-872-68xx , you can block these with one code;
    * * 7 # 40887268 #
    This will block all numbers between 408-872-6800 to 408-872-6899

    By using a combination of these methods, you can cut down and block telemarketer, spam/scam calls and other unwanted callers

    The codes I recommend most are;

    * * 7 # (BEEP) 6 * # (BEEP) = BLOCKS ALL VOIP/IP ROGUE DIALLER calls
    * * 7 # (BEEP) # (BEEP) = BLOCKS ALL UNAVAILABLE/UNKNOWN calls
    * * 7 # (BEEP) 0 # (BEEP) = BLOCKS ALL ‘0’ DIGIT SPOOF calls
