    If you’re having issues entering the programming codes in your CPR Call Blocker
    (the * * 7 … * * 6 … or * * 8 … codes etc)

    Check your Set up
    First, we need to double check the set up you’re using with the CPR Call Blocker is the STANDARD set up and NOT PARALLEL as PARALLEL will not work when trying to program – also please confirm the phone you’re using is the phone that’s connected directly to the Call Blocker

    This would be from Wall Jack/Modem to LINE jack (NOT LINE 1, TEL or TEL 1) AND the BLACK cable is used from the TEL jack (NOT TEL 1, LINE or LINE 1) to the back or base of the phone directly

    Alternate Method #1 – Hold BLOCK NOW button Method
    If all is correct, try the following method:

    1) Get a dial tone
    2) Hold the BLOCK NOW button until you hear a BEEP (usually 5 – 10 secs)
    3) Dial the full code (continue even IF you hear a busy tone) and listen for the BEEPS (1 BEEP after each # key) and keep an eye on the Call Blockers screen for the SUCCESSFUL message and check if the counter on the default screen has increased

    If you hear the first BEEP but not the second, please try again, faster leaving as few gaps between key presses as possible

    IF this does not work;

    Alternate Method #2 – REDIAL Method
    1) Please try first dial the FULL code into the handset BEFORE getting a dial tone
    2) Press the CALL/TALK/GREEN button on the handset to ‘dial’ the number – you will likely hear a BUSY tone after doing this, but check if the counter of blocked calls has increased – if it has, this method should work in future if not, move on to the next step
    ———-
    3) Get a dial tone again
    4) Hold the BLOCK NOW button until you hear a BEEP (usually 5 – 10 secs)
    5) Press the REDIAL button on the phone handset to dial the last entry which should be the previously dialled programming code – you will likely hear a BUSY tone after doing this, but please check if the counter of blocked calls has increased – if it has, this method should work in future

    Alternate Method #3 – alternate programming code(s)
    IF the above 2 steps does NOT work, please try each of these again using the alternative programming code ( using # * instead of * * – example # * 7 # * # for blocking International instead of * * 7 # * # )

    Further Help
    IF this still does not work advising to try the further alternative methods found in the following guide or Contact Us;
